I am able to create something unique in the animal portrait world: caricatures rendered in black and white or color of your pet. Each Whimsy Pawtrait® is reasonably priced, done in colored markers which help to produce the cartoon flavor of each piece. (Note: markers are not archival and care should be taken not to have them displayed in bright sun or under fluorescent lighting as they will fade.)

How It's Done

I work from reference photographs and on occasion the actual animal. A short description of the animal's personality, special traits and toys helps me when creating that expression you have come to know as unique to your pet. A prop or lettering will often personalize each Pawtrait® and adds to the character of each creation.
